Shakira to have Dubai dancing to her tunes in March
Singing sensation Shakira is coming to Dubai - and 25,000 people are expected to see her perform.
The star will be performing at Dubai Autodrome on March 23 as part of her Oral Fixation Tour.
"I have heard a lot about Dubai and performing in the Middle East for the first time will be something special. The Dubai performance will be one of the biggest shows on my 2007 tour," Shakira said in a statement.
Shakira, who was born to a Colombian mother and Lebanese father, hit the big time in Latin America in the mid-1990s and became a worldwide star following the 2001 release of her first English-language album, Laundry Service, which has sold 15 million copies.
She is being brought to Dubai by Mirage Promotions. Tickets will go on sale soon at venues to be announced.
